Are you looking for a flexible summer job that’s fun and meaningful? Jovie is hiring Event Childcare Providers to help care for children at special events throughout the summer in Grand Rapids!
As an Event Caregiver, you’ll spend your time playing games, leading crafts, and creating a safe, welcoming space for kids while their parents enjoy the event. If you’re energetic, friendly, and love working with children, this is a great way to gain experience, earn extra income, and make a difference—without committing to a full-time schedule. • Flexible 4-hour shifts on Fridays and/or Saturdays
• Fun, team-based work environment
• Great experience for education, childcare, social work, or healthcare majors
• Opportunity to pick up extra hours through on-call babysitting or daycare support

Event Dates

• June 12–14
• June 26–28
• July 10–12

(Exact shift times will be shared closer to each event.) What You’ll Do

• Engage kids in age-appropriate activities and play
• Work alongside other caregivers in a group setting
• Help create a positive, safe experience for children and families
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of childcare experience
• A positive, dependable, and outgoing attitude
• Enjoys working with kids and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Ability to pass a background check is required
