As a Security Officer with DSI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and clients. Your role will include observing, correcting, and reporting hazards to promote safety, as well as following all DSI and client requirements, including post instructions. You will participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual. Professional interaction with clients, visitors, employees, and the public is expected at all times. This role also requires routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, customer service oriented, and able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Basic to intermediate computer skills are required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Candidates must have reliable transportation, reliable communication, and be able to successfully pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
Please note: Armed Security Officer positions require candidates to be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid concealed carry permit.
